I don't wanna be any less of a track sniffer then my dear colleague. To people who know me it wont come as a surprise that I love almost anything that Robyn is involved in. We did a post on the stuff she's done over at cherrytree records just last week. Now I found a collaboration with a, to me at least, unknown artist named Troy This. The song is called American Dream (Happy Song) and it just keeps spinning around in my head. It's totally awesome. It's more dancy than the Canada-loving stuff A posted earlier. Ohh! Crapp... offers a free download of the song here. If you do wanna preview it before downloading you can listen to it here at HypeMachine.

UK vs Canada
Today I found the most amazing mashup. It was a long time ago since I heard something this good. AND it's a slow track. I'm totally shocked. Usually the slow mashups are way harder to do so people usually just wont do them. But this is a track from Pheugoo called The Complicated Scientist. The tracks within are Complicated by Avril and The Scientist by Coldplay. Unfortunately I'm Cant post the song directly here. But if you go over to Pheugoo (direct link) you can play the song and even download it for free so chop chop. Go get it.

Break the Silence
Let's just face it. We are terrible bloggers having you wait like this for a new post. The thing is that we've been really busy on our separate ways and have gotten a really amazing opportunity to remix for one of our joint obsessions. We can't really discuss this further at this point but when we're done you'll be the first to hear the results (yes they want one from each of us).
As a sign of our repentance for being such bad bloggers we're gonna give you two tracks in this post. first one of the most covered/remixed songs ever is Enjoy the Silence by the gods of DM. Here we have one of the better ones.
Yvan & Dan Daniel - Enjoy The Silence
Then we have one song that cannot be remixed well. We've searched for remixes of this song but came up with nothing. Absolutely nothing. It's Breaking the Habit by the amazing Linkin Park. It needs no further introduction. Here's the video:

Live Electronica
Okay. There has been a whole lot of buzzing in the blog-o-sphere of music about Electro acts faking live performances and stuff like that. I just wanna share my absolute favorite live performance of this genre. And it's live. And it has awesome visuals. and the original track is so suggestive and just plain solid. It is a stellar performance from The Knife of their track The Captain from the album Silent Shout. So stop what else you are doing. Press play and just sit back and enjoy sheer genius.
Sweet, huh?

Solidarity, Sister volume 2
Well we are on a roll here with all the cherrytree stuf so this would probably be a good idea to continue. If you check out the artists page on their website (link) you will find an amazing artist called Feist. One of her absolutely best songs is My Moon, My Man. You can listen to that and all of her albums at her myspace-page (link) so like Fever Ray she gets major solidarity points. Sweetness.
Here is the video for My Moon My Man which is one of those videos that just make you smile.
But there is more. Because we did not discover Feist through Myspace or Cherrytree even if that would be logical in our case. But Some time ago an extremely talented DJ named Alex or more famously known as Boys Noize featured a track on his album Oi Oi Oi that caught almost everyones attention. It was his remix of this track. double the length and maximize the Donk and add some of Alex's trademark crispyness. Masterpeice. Sorry about the video. We know it's just a picture.
And speaking of Solidarity if you check out the Boys Noize MySpace-page you will see that you legally can stream both Oi Oi Oi and Oi Oi Oi remixed Total Solidarity.

When it was good
Today we both learned something. Aparantly Flipsyde isn't just one dude but a full group. Most of you remember the song Happy Birthday which featured a sample from the ever so awesome pseudo-lesbians from Russia called t.A.T.u. What mad that song stick out was the thing with a black rapper doing a song about abortion.
But Now they have released a new track called When it was good. This track is unbelievable. V can't really put his finger on what it is but it is on his most played list for today. The video looks good as well.
Now you might wonder how we found this specific track. Who we should thank. Of course it's our friends over @Cherrytree Records. Flipsyde belongs to them. :)
And if you like the song up there in the video. Buy it, don't download. and the entire single is only $0.99 so don't be cheap, support the artists you like. (Single on iTunes)

Presentations
We kinda thought it was time for us, the midgets, to actually present ourselves here.
Morbidisco (A)
Morbidisco is the Californian dude who likes to make the dopiest remixes out there while making a living in a record store. Started out back in the day by doing the very marginalized genre of DarkCore. Mow it is just the roughest house available (and of course almost always his own remixes).
Pyrops (V)
This is our Swede who has emigrated to Mormon-land. He goes to college and tries not to piss off his mormon neighbors and classmates. His preferences when it comes to music is the elctro-stuff that is present at most clubs but he plays a lot of the urban stuff as well, like Hip-hop, Grime, Dancehall etc. Every once in a while some analog stuff enters into the sets.
Well this was just tiny presentations of us. There is actually one picture of V here on the blog. A warped pic of him as a kid is the mix art of Pink Parx.
